Monte Restaurant - Bulgarian and Mediterranean Cuisine with Local Produce
The restaurant is located on the ground floor beneath Etno Villas 7 and 8. It seats 40 guests indoors and 20 on the summer terrace. Chef Ivan Petrov brings 12 years of experience from kitchens in Bansko and Razlog. The menu blends Bulgarian traditions (grilled lamb, chomlek, stuffed peppers) with Mediterranean accents (risotto, pasta, seafood from Kavala). We work with local suppliers: lamb from Razlog, trout from Dospat, vegetables from Bunderitsa Farm, and honey from Dobrinishte. The wine list features 47 selections – Bulgarian wines from Melnik, Sandanski, and the Struma Valley, as well as Italian, French, and Greek labels.
The Taste of the Mountain and the Sea
Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 10:00 – it is included in the accommodation rate. We offer freshly baked bread from our kitchen oven, mountain honey from Dobrinishte, homemade white cheese from Razlog, yellow cheese, eggs of your choice, fruits, muesli, Lavazza coffee, and Ronnefeldt tea.
Lunch and dinner are à la carte – please reserve your table in advance (by phone or in person at the reception or restaurant).

Terrace dinners (May–September) offer views of Pirin – the sunset paints the peaks pink after 7:30 PM. In winter, we host barbecue evenings on the heated veranda. Wine tasting every Friday evening from 6:00 PM (advance reservation, min. 4 guests) – 5 wines from Bulgarian cellars, appetizers, BGN 45 per person.
